Christian Formation
Christian formation for youth includes Spark, a Sunday school faith formation program for children in kindergarten through grade 5, and the Journey to Adulthood program for youth in grades 6-12. An active youth group meets twice monthly and for special events (Halloween activities, annual broomball tournament on our pond, bowling, laser tag and more). Youth of all ages participate in Vacation Bible School, either as attendees or helpers.
Spiritual formation for adults is varied and rich. An adult education hour is held between the Sunday services, providing discussion opportunities on a series of different topics. Each year parishioners attending the Lenten series have the opportunity for deep spiritual growth. Occasional women’s retreats or co-educational retreats are organized by the clergy and lay leadership and held either on-site or at locations such as the nearby Episcopal House of Prayer in Collegeville or Maryhill Renewal Center in St. Paul. Some church members choose to attend a Thursday Bible study; some choose the weekly Education for Ministry (EFM) class.

Every other year, teens in the J2A (Journey to Adulthood) program take a major leap on their spiritual journey with a pilgrimage. In 2009, this group went to New York City. The next group plans to go to Boston in July 2011. Other groups have gone to northern Minnesota, the Black Hills in South Dakota, and other locations.
